In some form or fashion, I have known the players in what I am about to describe as a series of regrettable moments at the funeral of Coretta Scott King.

actually it is entertaining and I can't stay away from it! I leave for 10 minutes and come back to all kinds of wacky things written about me whcih I anticipated in one of my posts before i left. I do have a client to see, but don't need to leave for about 30 minutes yet, of course I need to do some preparation first, thus my comment about having to leave. So, I have been accused of being 19, not married, a leftist a DU'er, going to pick up a whore, IT IS GREAT!!!!. I did'nt even know there was a DU until about a month ago when someone posted something here about it and I checked it out. More wackos there than here, without a doubt.
I love it here - I absolutely love the things people write, especially when they think I am a 19 year old and stuff like that, a newbie, a senior citizen, etc. I literally laugh out loud at these comments, but it is ok because it is human nature to act this way. It sure as hell beats listening to the radio, and TV doesn't hold a candle to it!!!!!

hey, being a lady, first is a matter of opinion, and second, these days you never know about the balls things, and third, of course I would expect you to wear a rosa parks shirt. How Me and rosa parks got tied together in this discussion is a mystery to me as I never mentioned her. Just goes to show that people are more interested in venting, getting the upper hand, and strutting their ego than actually having a rational discussion.
As far as your friends, make sure you bring plenty of them. I bet I have more than you do. And of course you would want to meet on a playground, shades of a troubled childhood? It's ok.

A serious question:
is toning it down a function of the number of posters holding opposing positions to mine, or the just the content of my opinion? Because there have been plenty here who have written condescending things about my character,
etc.
Seems if no-one had any problem with my first post here, there would be no need to tone anything down, even if we still had the same level of differing opinions and dis agreements..
So, I guess I am asking is it a popularity contest?

See........your problem is that there are hundreds upon hundreds of freeper around that I could ping, who prayed with me, and comforted me when my son was in Iraq and cheered and cried with me when he came home.
Some have met him........including another freeper.....a brave and courageous First Sergeant in the Army National Guard..... who had contact with my son while he was driving his armored Humvee in escort patrol missions in the Sunni Triangle.
Many freepers have met me. I'm a real person, Insure, and I'm a real patriot who knows what it's like to suffer because my very young son was fighting to keep us all free.........even YOU.
You can 'question' my connection with the military all you want. It doesn't make you right. It only makes you a fool.
