LOL! I was trying to get you going with my first post. I've noticed that most of the media is completely credulous when "reporting" on taxation issues.
I'll bet that if Finance Committee Chairman Edward M. Burke told little Ms. Fran Spielman that Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy were getting "shafted" by the EVIL Chicago "tax evaders", she'd print it as gospel.
Of course, your points about Walmart & the city of Chicago would never see the light of day...

How happy can the current DUmmies living in "government" housing be ?
They are in denial. Reality will arrive. The state and federal tax payers can not carry them forever.
As those who can leave, do leave...the tax base will shrink even smaller.
No hard working person would start up (or continue) a business, hire staff, take financial risks...only for the Rats to tax and harrass them further.
