FR CANTEEN MISSION STATEMENT Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allies military and the family members of the above. Honoring those who have served before. ******** That's right - the Canteen mission Support the troops and all they do They've given up so much All for me and you There are so many here Who keep the aim sure and true They support the troops And have lots of fun too
We dance and play And spin on our toes A turn of phrase A joke or some prose All for the troops Who visit and bask Looking for a friend A break from their task So thanks to my friends You know who you are This army sister's brother Is home from the war You made my life easy You taught me some things You brought me such peace You gave me wings I'll always hold dear The ones who have cared Who gave me their true friendship Thank you FReeper Canteen. The HOLD with the MUZAK and the stupid we care messages reminds me of the old George Carlin comedy routine "Hello Hold are you There?"

Yeah.
But I'm immune to the stuff.
And that is unfair.
So I have to settle for listening to others experience with the stuff.

Well... let's just say it was in two parts.
One was having to drive somewhere, the other was conversation with someone in 'real life'...
Nothing Earth shattering, but definitely reality altering in some ways.
