Sounds like a plan to me, and I'd bet the NFL would be 100% in favor. The problem is the Network TV guys hate for things like extended overtime games to mess up their Prime Time schedules.

Sounds like a plan to me, and I'd bet the NFL would be 100% in favor. I know Cowher has brought the idea up before in the competition committee. He doesn't particularly like losing without even getting one posession.
