Trivia time: The boundary between the Mountain and Central time zones runs through the middle of the province, so they decided that on a year-round basis the western half would be Mountain Daylight Time and the eastern half would be Central Standard time. Both are UTC-6. That's why Windows has a separate time zone for that province.
