They are in so many churches. I wonder how to find the 30% that DO NOT contribute to PP.

They keep that up, it's logical that they won't be family owned much longer (no more family).

My church was full of them this past Christmas Season. I'll have to show this to my pastor.
Paul Ecke, the heir to the three-generation poinsettia empire, said of his siblings' upbringing as political abortion activists, "As children, we licked a lot of envelopes, we made a lot of phone calls, we walked door-to-door to encourage people to vote. Among those causes, he said was promoting Planned Parenthood.
This man needs to be freeped.
Paul Ecke, III
In 1991, representing the culmination of a plan he had set in motion in the early 1970s, Paul Jr. turned over the management of the company to his son,
Paul Ecke III. With a lifetime of exposure in the family business and an MBA from Duke University, Paul III is positioning the company for the 21st century. In addition to maintaining an active New Products Development department, Paul III sees the need to diversify the Ranch's product offering. While remaining committed to the traditions and philosophies established by his grandfather and refined by his father, Paul III brings a progressive business perspective to all Ranch operations. Yep, ALL pro-life churches (Catholic and Protestant) need to be made aware of this. Many churches sell poinsettias to raise money for various causes, I wonder how they would feel to find out that money they spent on them is going straight to abortuaries.

This is an old thread, but it's that time of year again. They may look nice at Christmas, but the money you spend on poinsettias is being used to promote evil.

Ya know... I know a militant Catholic lady who always talked about how poinsettias had an anti Catholic Masonic connection, a long detailed historical story. I had always politely smiled at those comments and then disregarded them. Now I'm saying hmmmm.

If 70% of the poinsettia market was controlled by a pro-life family, the left would be bringing them up on anti-trust violations.

If they are growing 70% of the poinsettias in the country, then it is a pretty good bet that anybody who buys them is contributing to the culture of death.Un hunh.
And if "pro-life" organizations are using them to raise funds, I guess they are also contributing to the "culture of life."
Gee, what a quandary.
To: wagglebee
James Hartline, a Christian activist in California wrote to LifeSiteNews.com warning that the poinsettias decorating the churches and homes of Christians in the US could easily originate from a family-owned business that has been supporting abortion for decades.
It says could! I don't like using could and would for fact. Do we have any real proof of this. I don't want to stop buying poinsettias if this is just rumor.
To: wagglebee
I just tried to read the article from the thread and it was taken away. I don't think this is true. Where is the proof of this. If we are going to ruin someone's business I want more than a one sided story and I am completely PRO-LIFE, but I don't want to ruin someone's lifeline on innuendo.

It's not innuendo, it's fact. If you look, you will notice that I posted this article nearly ten months ago, so it's not surprising that the link to the article is missing.

When they said "placentas" you thought they said "poinsettias."
