The day of Arafats death was a glorious day. It is a shame he couldn't have died as the thousands of his victims did, before they did.

Eternal peace for the innocent. Eternal damnation for the killers, may their names be erased.

Ah yes, the peaceloving palies and their ROP...

I'd call them animals, but that's an insult to animals.

Thank you for posting this article. The wholesale butchery in Damour is the worst massacre during Arafat's PLO terrorist invasion of Lebanon.

The Massacre and Destruction of Damour
Arafat's PLO and Syria's Sa'iqa brigade slaughters men, women, and children.

Today, Hamas has effectively replaced the PLO with a elevated fanatical Islamic twist.

Arial Sharon must be given full credit for forcing Arafat from Lebanon, although if it were not for extreme international pressure on Israel, Arial Sharon would have been able to save future Jewish lives by destroying Arafat and his entire top terrorist command.

"Zuhayr Muhsin, chief of al-Sa’iqa"

It is worth saying that Al-Sa'iqa was a REGULAR unit of the Syrian Army made of palestinian recruits.
It is also worth saying that the tunnels of Harat Na’ami existed in June 1982, Tsahal did not blow them up during operation Peace of the Galilee. I do not have the answer for that.

In all, 582 people were killed in the storming of Damour.

I was unfamiliar with the massacre at Damour so I looked in up. Unquestionably this was a terrible incident but you omitted two important facts:

1. It was during the Lebanese civil war.
2. This massacre was in retaliation for a massacre committed two days earlier by Christians against the Palestinian town of Karantina during which even more people (~1000) were killed.

So, why can't we get the GOP to STOP PRESSURING ISRAEL?

This should be a movie...but if it was, Father Lakaby would be shown (as played by George Clooney)as a man who agonized over how he provoked those poor, long-suffering Palestinians.

Other then electing GOP Reps & Senators who will demanding serious house cleaning at the State Department, I am not sure.

I do believe we have a good man at the U.N. now in John Bolton and thus far shows very favourable support for Israel.

I noticed that in the genocide of the Armenians in Turkey, the Muslims also cut the genitals of some men (while they were alive) and later shot them and stuffed them in their mouths (The Burning of the Tigris). These were brave men who stood up to them.

OPINION: I know you're "wideminded" (because your moniker says so), but why are you using wikipedia as a source for information?
