I just saw this interview on Letterman a few minutes ago. It is SURE to be the BIG topic of conversation later today. Letterman was absolutely snarlish. When he couldn't argue with O'Reilly, he just said that he thought about 60% of what he says is just crap.

I have always disliked Letterman. I very rarely saw anything that tickled me, and I suppose in light of this I must have seen the underlying A-hole and been turned off.

Letterman: No, it was the intelligence gathered by his administration.Talk show hosts who haven't clue one as to how intelligence is gathered shouldn't be discussing it.

I watched it as well......
Disgusting to say the least. David Letterman does not deserve the freedom our troops provide him

David Letterman is a loser. Jay Leno continues to cream him in the ratings. He should crawl into his hole with his cabana piano man and they can enjoy eachothers company.
Regardless if you like O'Reilly or not, Letterman is a radical left trash bag. He believes that witch Sheehan is a Saint. Simply unbelievable.

He's an entertainer after all, and from what I've seen, his audience was entertained.

Stopped watching both Letterman and Leno months ago because of their relentless, vicious, and thoughtless attacks on Bush and the war - my only consolation is that they and people like them would be amonst the first into the shreading machines should the jihadists ever take over......

I have the feeling about 99 percent of what Letterman say is crap.
Strike that.
I KNOW it is crap!!

Leftist Letterman is a bore. His show sucks and he can't even beat Leno? He's tired and snarly and boring. He should retire.
To: PJ-Comix
Lettermen is just being the good little biy whore he is and saying what his paymasters at See-BS require him to say. He is irreverent. It's See-BS. No one is even watching him. Rush Limbaugh and the other 3 major Radio talk show hosts talk, in any single 15 mins segment, to more people then watch Letterman ALL week.

Letterman is more and more vocal in his hatred of Bush, and that is why I quit watching. He isn't funny anymore.

I don't really care for OReilly but Letterman is an honest to God POS.

Letterman is bland and boring and so full of himself ....
A perfect example of what can happen to dull witted people
when they somehow find themselves with vastly too much money
than they deserve . Letterman is overwhelmed with his own
warped sense of self importance . I hope O'Reilly cuts him a new one .

I would say that Letterman did not do well by himself at all tonight, in both or any sense you can take those words.
He was outright hostile, sneaky , and dishonest with O'Reilly, and seemed to have him on ONLY to ambush him with cheap shots and play to his own captive audience. I expect O'R will be talking about this tomorrow on the radio, and I expect Letterman will be getting a lot of flak about this from a variety of sources and will issue a half-hearted apology of sorts on Wednesday night's show. I was VERY disappointed in Letterman , and will probably not watch his show again. The few times I've turned on Leno, I was surprised at how good it was.

Letterman's Top Ten lists used to be funny. Other than that I like Leno better.
O'Reilly may be a blowhard, but this might be one of those cases when his guest gets his a$$ handed to him (like when he had Phil Donahue on a few months back). That's when O'Reilly is at his best.

Don't know why O'Reilly or any other thinking human being would allow themselves to act as the foil for this frustrated misanthrope. Sympathy for Sheehan expired after the first tearful rant.
