Like I said - this was a setup to get Bush's administration.

And, the press does not get a free ride to print anything they wish no matter what it reveals. If Kovak is not in trouble, if Mr. Wilson is not in trouble - then drop the whole thing. Apparently there is not much danger to anyone if only the one giving the info is guilty and the reporter is free to print it no matter how top secret the info is.

Just because something is told to a media person does not mean they are free of responsibility of leaks and only the ones giving the information are guilty. Does not make sense.

If no one cares what the press prints - then there is no crime in revealing confidential information to the press. Both are guilty if there are leaks.

Yes, if she was not covert, the case of revealing her identity is dead. So far that is the only conclusion a person could have at this time.
However, if the Feds claim you lied to them or the GJury, then there will be charges. That is what we have seen.
