Down with Ragu.
Long live Barilla!:o)
Reminds me of a few years ago when the Prince Pasta plant closed in Lowell MA. It was a well known local landmark, and was used for directions 'turn left at the Prince Pasta plant.'
It went out of business. The building was purchased by another firm, and underwent a name change, but was afterwards still used as a landmark 'Turn left as the pasta plant formerly known as Prince.'
Tomatoes are grown in Virginia, they are fed fertilizer and water via tubing controlled by a computer with black plastic to keep down the weeds. They also grow cotton but I have never seen it grown as they do tomatoes.
Never did care much for rag goo.
I always make my own sauce. Tasted bought sauce once and thought it was a dose.
What a speecy spicy shame this is!!

OMG! In-sourced jobs were outsourced? Oh, the humanity!Maybe European and Japanese companies know what American companies don't...Manufacture where the consumer lives.
Alfalfa tastes much better than tomatoes, you just have to process it into a steer first.

Actually these jobs were out-sauced. It's a fine distinction, but I think most of us can wrap our noodle around it.

Thank God! RAGU is absolutely the worst-tasting spaghetti sauce on the market.
OUCH! That was bad...really bad. ;)
The best tasting Tomato sauce I'v had is from Christiano's in Syosset Longisland.
Billy Joel's song, scenes from an Italian restuarant was written about Christiano's.
The guy who made the tomato sauce has been at Christiano's for like 35 years.
