Well, the whole thing had the look of a drug deal gone bad. The way the media presented it, initially, that this plane had just come in from Columbia. The 'courier' is now dead and his effects blown up. The only witness are the Sky Marshalls...
But, yes, I probably would and even now DO complain about the Sky Marshalls. Why? Because they should be on EVERY plane.
Beyond that, I think that every time a Govt. agent shoots someone, we should all take a good hard look. This is the perfect forum for that, and I'm glad to see that this is what is happening here.
Explain to me how in FIRST CLASS this dude heard every word that was said in the LAST ROW of the plane and in coach?
Even the guy who's looking for his 15 minutes of fame said he roared down the aisle "looking like he was doing 1000 miles a hour, knocking people out of the way."
BTW, that's seven (maybe); let's hear from the other 113.
So then the alternative is that the Feds shot a quiet, unassuming passenger.
That's a pretty ridiculous alternative also.
They were ALL on the news as soon as they got off the plane.
Well, I notice that there are some who ALWAYS take the side AGAINST anybody involved with LEO.
So did Jorge Figueroa, a power-plant operator from Lakeland seated a few rows behind first class.
"...He wasn't saying anything; he was just running," Figueroa said. "I said to myself, 'It is probably a person who took the wrong plane.' "
LOL! Never say die, eh?
You mean when he RAN BY HIM he wasn't saying anything?
The furthest row back I've seen is 26; do you have any clue how big this plane was? How on EARTH could they hear everything he said?
No, never take the word of a few people who are anxious to get their faces on TV, which could be said of the ones I've seen on TV so far.
Tinfoil's gettin' a little too tight.
BTW, by his own statement, this guy pretty much admits he hadn't a clue what was going on until the guy passed him in Row 26; from all reports, there had been quite an altercation back in Coach; whatz up with him not hearing that?
LOL!
...take the side AGAINST anybody involved with LEO.
I'm not that guy.
And I certainly didn't mean to imply you were! I thought I was agreeing with you.........LOL...sort of!
Yeah, it happens, life goes on.:)
It's possible someone on the plane, seeing Alpizar acting up, said "he might have a bomb."
If the mission is to target is law enforcement, public officials and military--the tough guys--, attracting attention is standard m.o. Some suicide bombers are assigned to terrorize civilians: They walk into crowds and detonate.
Again, the air marshall had no way of knowing this was not an ARMED terrorist.
If you really want some serious LOL time, check out these same threads at DU...
It's Scotch nite so ANYTHING they say on the subject evokes nose clearing snickering.
Scotch nite? I don't suppose you mean the country, huh?
