One difference. The people the Nazis removed were not guilty of being in the country illegally. Most were sent to labor camps not the border. Most were honest working citizens who were supporting themselves without aid....... Tell me what countries in the world allow unrestricted illegal immigration? Check on the Aussies once and see how they handle it. You get caught in Australia illegally when they are done with you it is doubtful you will come back.
Of course I understand the difference between the Jews who were rounded up and illegas and you can make that point all you want but we are a visual society and the MSM would run those images non-stop. Soccer mom, grandma and joe college guy wouldn't see the difference that is obvious to you. I'm not arguing the right or wrong of the issue just the practical consequences. Any politician who would attempt such a thing would be out on their butt in no time. You might still applaud them for having guts, for standing up for what was right, etc, etc - but that politician would still be unemployed.
