I didn't watch the whole show. Did Murtha break down in tears again?
I was able to witness Murtha speak before the first vote and he was not crying. He was somewhat jovial, in fact.
I fell asleep before the second round of voting, so I dont know if Murtha & the others got up to make another round of speeches.
Another classic - Jim McDermott got up to speak and he started talking about how Arabs dont want to sign a piece of paper - they settle differences another way. He started going on and on about some story/example.......I would like to hear someone give a good accounting of McDermott's speech.
