Hey, he may have said something like this---although given his marital situation, I kinda doubt it---but I made this up a few months ago and posted it here.

I started thinking about it when USA Today interviewed me for a piece on "Patriotism" on the 4th of July, and the reporterette kept asking, "Well, can't liberals be patriots, too?" And at the time I didn't have a great answer for her. But I do now.
