Fox is saying that he will speak in strong terms about the criticism.
The question remains, are his strong terms - strong terms?
I know the president campaigned on changing the tone in Washington. It was a noble effort, but ultimately futile. So now is the time to take off the gloves and defend the soldiers, most importantly, and the Republican led effort, secondly.
Unfortunately, it is not the president's way to "take off the gloves". He didn't use the information he had on Kerry during the 2004 campaign - information that Kerry, pre 9/11, wanted the United States of America to invade Iraq.
I don't understand the president's reluctance to fight fire with facts, truth and using the Democrat's OWN words against them. This can be done without being mean or overly personal, which I would not support, as I'd like Republicans to fight in a gentlemanly way. But fight, damnit.
