We can only hope, but the spineless GOP is the weak link. The leadership sucks.

"Let's pray the administration reminds the left and American public that..."

Agreed and amen.

I spent some time praying for President Bush this morning as I do every morning. God knows W is the right person and He put him there at this time. The problem is the hearts of the enemy. I pray their hearts will be changed and God will fill President Bush with His love, His compassion and to speak the Truth. W, knows millions of us pray for him daily. That will not go unnoticed. I have faith in a much higher power than W, and I know W is being protected and lifted in prayer.

I really do love the guy and I support him but it actually hurts me to see him not defend himself against the baseless attacks he is experiencing. All anyone can expect is that he at least fight back. Even if you lose the fight you are far better off then if you never fought at all.

[directed at Fox] Really? That seems out of character. Gee ... Veterans Day ... President makes speech ... you don't suppose his content will be about the Veterans and only the shouted questions will be about criticisms do you? </sarc>

That's good. From a marketing perspective many people born in the last 35-45 years wouldn't understand. Tip for future reference: Complete the thought. "While Maryjo Kopechne. was drowning in your car."

"My fellow Americans, as of today, all DC-based employees below the executive management level of the Central Intelligence Agency have been terminated. Hiring and re-hiring will be according to GAO protocols.

"Also as it regards the CIA, on Monday the executive and administrative offices will be relocated to New Orleans, Louisiana.

"Thank you and God Bless America."

Yin and Yang. One sentence gets attention, while paragraphs convince. Too often the admin's PR has been one or the other, instead of effectively combining the two, since both elements are essential.

Exactly, but with Clinton it would be:

"he's fighting back"

"his war room is working hard"

"the comeback kid"

"turning his sights on Republicans"

You know the drill.

The President will do what he can, but he cannot win against the slanderous press.

No way, only WE can beat them, if we give them as much venom as we do the Pres and his people.

I think you should have Scott McClellen's job.

ANYBODY besides Scott McClellan should have that job. He's the weakest link.

President Bush has wasted so many opportunities in the past, I suspect the speech will be nothing new. It's veterans day, so I expect nothing more. I spent 4 years in the Korean War, so I appreciate the acknowledge of my service, but I want more.

Looks like he got the word that Bill Kristol gave him permission to defend himself. We'll see if he defends himself and goes after his accusers.

Instead of making speeches, he should be laying the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
