Arnold has a split victory. Two of (74 and 75) the four measures he championed passed. Three if you count Prop. 73 which he also endorsed. The Democrats are even less popular than him and the election is NOT to be read as a voter endorsement of the way they run things up in Sacramento.

It does seem to be a small miracle that 75 is passing in spite of all the money the lefties spent to defeat it. I think the one big mistake Arnold made was that he didn't answer the attack ads sooner. The dems have had commercials with frowning nurses, teachers, and firemen, proclaiming how Arnold wants to "hurt" them; running for months unanswered.
I would have to agree that overall it's a victory considering just how left this state is.
