An what if the A team took a pass on the first time around? Can you name any candidate's close friend or candidate's family member or the candidate him/herself who would back up the assertion that Miers was the only person who wanted such an apparently crappy job as SCOTUS justice? It was a creation of Karl Rove's mind.

By that I mean what if that 'leak' was utter bull-sh*t, which by the way it appears it was.
