Wilson said Wednesday he took little comfort that the men he believes have engaged in a campaign of character assassination against him for the past two years -- Karl Rove, President Bush's deputy chief of staff, and Lewis "Scooter" Libby, the vice president's chief of staff -- may soon be facing charges and possible jail time.

Obviously Joe has forgotten his "frog-marching Karl Rove" remark as he sheds his crocodile tears, or he once again hopes that his supporters' short-term memory has been rotted away by too much hash/opium/coke.

Wilson declined to say whether it's important, ultimately, that high officials serve prison time if indicted and found guilty.

LOL - since he is the one who should, by all rights, be indicted and found guilty - I can certainly understand his declining to comment on this aspect.

"A sad day for this country" was the day this twerp in an Italian suit was hired to do work for the U.S. A Commie by any other name would still smell as rank.

Mr. Wilson's little intrigue/vendetta has gone sour - the original intent to get the White House is so very obvious. An all out effort to find who at the CIA was pulling the puppet strings should have top priority – these are particularly nasty people.

I still can't understand how a person that did NOT work for the CIA or did NOT work for our government could go on a trip like this....even if his wife did send him......WHO signed off on his expenses??

And, as far as we know, Wilson went on this mission without even holding a government security clearance. The CIA didn't even have him sign a confidentiality agreement, which allowed him to come back and use his "findings" against the administration.

Mucho CIA hanky panky involved in sending Wilson on this mission!!! Designed of course, to discredit the Bush administration. I think that's why Wilson came back and did NOT submit a written report....in fact, did NOT even dictate his oral report inside the CIA.

Seems like every other day to me. Self-serving charlatans and liars become media stars. Too bad you didn't get that job in the Kerry Administration, Joe.

Your right, Joe. When a self-serving politico like yourself can destroy other people's careers, it is a sad day.

I wonder how sad he'll be if he, his MSM abettors, his faux-spook wife, and the rest of the incompetent burrowed-in, Clinton-era CIA holdovers are indicted for treason.

Rush was just talking about a case that Fitzgerald did about a Muslim Charity and a Muslim went to prison....was he talking about Alamoudi? Alamouid gave the fundraiser for Hilary and Hillary listed it as Museum Council instead of Muslim Council!!

Joe Wilson has his office in Alamoudi's office!!!

Anyone know what case Rush was talking about if it wasn't Alamoudi.

It is going to be a sad day for Wilson/Plame if Libby and/or Rove are indicted. Wilson/Plame will become emeshed in a long legal battle that will cost them big bucks in legal fees. Let the games begin.

Writer Sam is nuttier than crazy Joe. He is really into jail time and handcuffs. The problem is that Rove and/or Libby will never see the inside of a prison. They will be pardoned by Bush.

They won't need a pardon. If indicted, they will win in court.

I totaly agree with you...Where is the wife of this disengenuous, self-serving, pathetic, traitorous SOB. Is she in France as some on these threads have said. If so why?

As you know (or go to NRO MEdia blog) this story is full of the consistent lies about Wilson. Take a few minutes and tell the editors what you think of a press too biased and/or lazy to publish the truth. It's easy--And it's time.
