You altered your homepage, Burkaman! You get the bath. Thank goodness, radu showed up with the keys to the cleaning closet.

I was wondering if you'd gotten any of that "s-word". Glad it missed you. I got goosebumps when watching the reports on the news last evening. BRRRRRRR!!!!

It's partly sunny here today and if the wind would lay down, it wouldn't be too bad outside.

But the wind blows right through all layers of clothing. *shiver*
What happened to summer??!!!! It needs to come back!! LOL!

Hey, I just saw your pome to Sarge. Beautifully done! Love the swordswoman, woo hoo!

I wrote him a pome too, in #632.
Something inspiring about our soldiers, isn't there?

I think the entire state of Tennessee is pumped right now. pretty much everyone has at least one friend or loved one who's been overseas with the 278th. I have a few friends from around here that I look forward to welcoming home.

We're having a blast with the preparations.

It's been a little difficult for some of the family members who want to go to Camp Shelby. With the Katrina repair work going on, the motels are full down there and they don't have anywhere to stay. Most are waiting til their loved one can leave Camp Shelby and get back to their home towns. Just a few more days.

Is that when you take a bath, I have forgotten. I know you have not hit the showers in a long time.

Tomkow's a STINKER! LOL!
I'll just leave all the implements of "de-funk-tion" right where they are so they're handy. ;-)

Yes, the wheat is beautiful in the winter. VERY vibrant green. It almost glows sometimes.
It hasn't been planted yet. The fields were just plowed up this week. It won't be long, though.

We can toss Pepe in with ya. He's been around again and he STINKS!! I always know when he's close by at night before I even see him. His stench precedes him. hehe!
