The Constitution says that you vote for electors who vote for the President and he is given the job of nominating Justices NOT you or the Lynch Mob or me or the electorate. Now those who move to elect the President should understand that he is not under their influence but must perform his constitutionally mandated duty NOT subject to day by day approval from the public.

Now if you voted for a President it was because you trusted he would do that duty. He was NOT going to have a running poll of you or me as to what to do.

The Federalist clearly explains why these selections were taken out of the hands of the voters. If you doubt read it.

I and others don't believe the president is doing his duty. Does the First Amendment of the Constitution grant us the freedom to speak out against his nomination? Or should we be arrested? Are we guilty of treason?
