Yes, that annoyed me too. I'm sitting here with an 11-yr-old daughter and thinking Rush is ok for her to listen to, and suddenly he says "sex oil" and goes on about KY Jelly at Walmart.

Your President REAGAN did give amnesty to millions of illegals...and did NOTHING to close the borders...or go after terrorists...so please, please let's don't make him as the PERFECT POTUS!!!

What you do not see is that she did not say that she answered a question from Matt Lauer, and she said Maybe, not yes of course. You are doing the same thing to Laura that others are doing to Miers, you are telling fibs, and it is beneath decent Conservatives to trash a decent woman if it is Miers or Laura Bush. Would you listen to yourself, with the lies that have been said about the one comment, the Republicans that are against Miers are sounding worse than the likes of Hillary or Reid. I believe it is sexism because it is a different kind. She is not an attractive sexy woman, and she is an Old Maid, and does not need a Husband to fulfill her dreams, and be a success (like Hillary). The Buchananites, and the radicals think that George Bush can just appoint anyone and have them approved by this Senate. They are way past nutz. By the way I left the House at 8am and did not walk in the door until 8Pm I was driving 300 miles round trip for Medical Procedures.

Last night I was on a thread and posted that I could back an Allen/Watts ticket in 2008....but, Allen will have to either explain a couple things he has said and done...or I might have to change him...
I would love to see Pence get House Majority Leader, Speaker of the House, Senate Majority Leader or POTUS....
So, I will leave my options open...but, so far, I haven't been disappointed with Pence.
Fortunately, I can pray for her...without listening to her for awhile..
She did take a week off...and went to Alaska...between the chemo and the radiation...today was her last day of radiation...so she says she is "treatment free"....
Perhaps that will help....but, I was getting upset with her before this Miers thing....and this performance this morning was just TOO much for now.

I am way behind on this thread so bear with me, I had to install a new receiver into my Direct TV, and switch back the one I borrowed from another room. It is not easy to pick out a Dummie because they use the same language and they cannot spell. Many of the old sign up dates are because 7 years ago there was no DU, and they wanted to be on any forum that dealt with Politics. This Great Forum served them well recently because there were too many out of control freepers that hate Miers and Bush so much they did not pay attention to their code words, and they totally blew the Zots.
Mutually, I have nothing personal against you or other FReepers. But Bush has the Bully Pulpit and ability to twist GOP arms in Congress or veto the entire spending bill and make them start over. But so far he hasn't vetoed anything.

Very much pro-regime change in Iraq, 110%! A good friend with whom I share D.O.R. was with the 101st from Day 1 of Operation Iraqi Freedom. My complaint is not to pull out of Iraq, but to unleash our military as we did in WWII, in the whole region against whoever's "not with us."

Enough is known about it to call it Amnesty. I'm all for LEGAL immigration and a guest worker program, I've worked LEGALLY in other countries and have family and many neighbors who LEGALLY hold Green Cards. But without secure borders and a means to control who's comes here and who stays here, it's meaningless.
