Hours before New Orleans Police Superintendent Eddie Compass announced his resignation, Tony relayed some hot information he had heard from his Capitol Hill sources. It regarded an FBI investigation currently under way.

You can go to the source above and listen to that segment of his radio show.

It's still on the website. Guess the new Chair wasn't given the password to update. LOL

I wonder if the Dems are going to provide a dictionary of acceptable terms anytime soon?

For us it would simply be the dictionary. We aren't to say anything.

Look at the trouble Bill Bennett got into advocating abortion the other day...

Bennett wasn't advocating abortion. He is a strong pro-life Catholic. Because the MSM and the Democrats chose to highlight a small part of the point he was making, it just sounds that way. He was saying how easy it is to misuse statistics and used the notorious example to show the ridiculous conclusions that could be reached using that method.

"Bennett wasn't advocating abortion."

That was actually my point. What he did say was truncated and taken WAY out of context. What I said he said is an example of that sort of thing. I just truncated it closer to the beginning, leaving out the part that the MSM took to mean he's a racist. Thanks for responding to it, btw, as I've been waiting for that shoe to drop for a LONG time, now. ;) If he'd said "males" or "females" instead of blacks, he'd have been called sexist. Truth of the matter is, if you aborted all babies of ANY group, your crime stats would drop, since every group produces criminals, including the Amish, Mormons, Baptists, blacks, whites, Americans, Russians, Chinese, you-name-it.

"For us it would simply be the dictionary."

Actually, I think it would be one of those blank journals; you know, the ones with a hundred or so blank pages? Blank because we're not supposed to say anything, just think whatever thoughts they want us to have...

If the story is true that there are non existent Police Officers on the rolls, in anything like those numbers, the scandal will be explosive. One bogus employee is too many.

Your remarks are racist and hurtful. I have proof these officers exist. They voted most enthusiastically for Nagin and Blanco.

BTW, the treatment for my new TV series about NOLA has been most enthusiastically received. It's kind of a cross between I Love Lucy, Car 54 Where Are You?, F Troop, and Amos'n'Andy. The producers have asked me to right in a Ralph Cramden-type character, on the theory that a show about NOLA should have at least 1 bus driver.

I am glad I "bit" on your comment. You should say more and more often on more subjects.

Thanks, but I have a wife, three kids, I'm working full-time (again) and going to school three-quarter time as a grad student. I've spent much of today freeping when I had other things that needed doing. Freeping more would be a BAD idea. Mama would freaking KILL me! ;)

It would appear that the NO disaster opened up much more than just substandard levees.

Here's the Tony Snow story I mentioned about the non-existent New Orleans police officers. Read post #1 for more details.
