Tell him not to go yet. They're trying to keep the roads clear so the convoys can get through. They're trying to get food and gas back into the city, the power workers and rescue crews need to get to the hot zone. Please ask him to stay put. There will be another press conference at 5:00 with return instructions, but for now they need the roads clear.

If they really think that people with homes that were unaffected in NW, West, and SW Houston are going to wait until Sunday or Monday to come home they are nuts. Further the distribution centers for food and gas in this area are SOUTH of town so once whatever convoys they are bringing in are here I just don't see a problem if you live west of downtown.
