Americans generally don't go on welfare. At one point 51% of welfare users were foreign born though they made up 4%of the population.In San Diego Hispanics make up between 20%and 25%of the poulation but 40% of welfare cases. Blacks on the other hand make jup 7%of the population but only $%of the welfare cases. You do the math. You go to any public housing project in Los Angeles and Hispanics make up approximately 95% percent of the residents.

Thanks for the response. My comment was in reference to those here illegally, not legal residents such as you describe. My point being that ongoing government welfare inhibits people from seeking work and contributes to the "poverty class". Illegal aliens are not a part of "our" poverty class. They should all be deported immediately.
