Under pressure from President Bush and other top federal officials, the mayor Monday suspended the reopening of large portions of the city over the next few days because of the threat of a new round of flooding from a tropical storm.
"I would rather err on the side of conservatism so we would make sure we have everyone out," Mayor Ray Nagin said.
In other words he would rather be right this time then be what he was last time...
That's true,but a person can be a Dim or a Republican,and still not be conservative-we have quite a few RINOs in the Congress-I don't think that Nagin ever qualified as a conservative...
