Since you have revealed the fact that you haven't a clue what that purple finger represents, let me give you clue. She voted. You think? I know exactly what it means just as the 'solidarity' show by political hacks in our own nation holding up their purple fingers in front of any camera that would bother taking a picture of them. My point is it doesn't matter. None of it does. The democracy in Iraq will fail. It may take a generation, but I doubt it. They will eventually vote in a theocracy and the situation will be worse than it was to begin with. But as long as you feel warm and fuzzy about a damn purple finger being held up by someone that votes based on emotion rather than fact, hey go for it. And no I'm not talking about the Iraqi people

Your info page?
So far I have found three g-g-g-grandfathers that served bravely in the Confederate Army (6th NC Cavalry, 16th NC Infantry, and 23rd NC Infantry) and they fought for freedom, for the Constitution,"
So slick what the deal with you?
You either stand for something or you will fall for anything!
Just a thought.

Oops! You should have remained silent a bit longer. Freedom does matter. And it is a good thing. Even if your kind does interfere, and usher in a theocracy down the road, the Iraqi people have been given a taste of freedom. They weren't given this freedom by the likes of you. It was given by real men and women, who accomplished even more than that. Our troops know a pride that cowards will never know.
