Why does race play a role in this? People are people. I could care less as to how they look.
*sigh* Why does EVERYTHING have to be about race?
MLK's dream is still a long way off.
yeah - if they're only giving because so many of the victims were black, then I'd call that racist.
From dream to nightmare.
Wonder how much Je$$ie and $harpton are going to give?
.
Being as there is no such thing as an "African-American", how could they respond to the hurricane?
Not surprising really. According to the media, that's really all this is primarily about.
Especially those folks at NASCAR.
I'm telling you, everytime you hear from one of their people, they are always talking about "race this", and "race that".
Race, race, race ....
Frankly, I'm sick of it.
The obvious message is that if the victims of Katrina were predominantly white, these hip-hop nit-wits wouldn't care a whit. They'd probably be cheering in the streets with our Middle Eastern enemies.
The Left and especially the Black Left has ab-soul-utely abandoned "The Dream". They trot it out every February for Black History Month, and then stuff it back into the box for next year. The Black Racist's of the Left have made every effort they can to divide the Blacks from the Whites to either gain or retain their power and influence. If you preach that everything in your life is bad because of the Whiteys, then you don't have to blame yourself for your problems. Just as Palestinians "Leaders" blame everything on Israel and the Jews, they must have a bogey man to blame. Once the one who is blamed for the problems is removed from the equation, then the people see the real causes of their plight, and that just can't be allowed by their "leaders"..............
"I've seen black folk come together around any number of issues. It's usually either a head or a heart issue," he said. "For example, we came together after the election of 2000, when Bush essentially stole the election. That was a head issue. People were mad. Other issues hit our hearts; O.J. Simpson comes to mind."
I can't believe he said this...but I know it is true..I frequent a crime board where many think OJ was framed.
You are wrong. Te-RAY-za Heinz Kerry is an African American, and she came within a few million votes of being First Lady.
You mean "Mama T?" Remember that?
This is actually not a joke:
