A lot of cell phones are not working so don't assume the worst because of that alone. But there is no doubt that area has been hit and hit hard.

Steve Harrigan just reporting from Gulfport that at least bulldozers are now clearing a path so that Emergency vehicles might get through.

You know, I was thinking about how the displaced persons are going to get their mail to pay their bills with money they don't have?

It's a given the people of New Orleans don't have a deliverable address. And the backlog will be unimaginable. I guess they can "return to sender"..

It's going to be a huge mess, to try and explain to creditors where to send the bills, etc. Small thing? Hardly.
