Well...9" isn't a lot of water, but the French Quarter is one of the higher sections of New Orleans (being the oldest part of town), and had not flooded *at all* before now. If the water goes no higher, then this is no big deal. But it goes to show just how badly the rest of the city is flooding, when one of the least vulnerable parts of town is starting to get water in the streets.

Besides, if the French Quarte gets water in it, where will Shep get his Hurricanes?

Did something happen to Pat O'Brian's? Best friggin hurricanes on the planet.

My nine year old was concerned about Cafe du Monde.

I pledge my family will give tourist dollars to NO when they are back on their feet. Beignets and Hurricanes. A truly great city.
