The rally has wound down now. The last speaker at the podium was CNTXAN's 17 year old daughter! She spoke from the heart, having had a father who served. We need a lot more of that and God bless CNTXAN and his for raising her up in such a fashion.
CNTXAN is on his way home to Killeen. Several other Freepers were heading to eat, I believe in Waco or somewhere in the vicinity. They had great medai coverage, very sympathetic and supporitve law enforcement, and a lot of supportive and grateful passerbys.
I wish to God there could be some way that this effort can continue every weekend as long as the other side camps outsoide the President's door. It makes a difference and gets people energized all over the country...as I know it has done today.
I can speak from experience, at Klamath Falls it made all the difference in the world as literally first tens, and then hundreds of thousands of people who couldn;t be there on the ground with us...but who heard about it over the internet and talk radio as we made our reports...took action wherever they lived. That is exaclty what ois needed here too.
So, that's it folks. Please continue to check in on the thread for pics (later tonight), comments and more links
...and ocne again, God bless these guys, and all of you, for the support of our troops today.
Thank You, Jeff. Great job.
Oh Jeff....GREAT last report! You've done a fantastic job.
Thanks to the TX Freepers!!!
Thanks Jeff. There wqere a lot of us who couldn't oin you at Klanmath Falls, but were with you in spirit. the same goes for today. We support those in Crawford who are honoring our troops.
The only place I have ever found conservatives to be at a distinct disadvantage to liberals is....we have jobs and lives that require us to do something besides sit next to the road and make a big fuss. : )
Thanks for the updates. And CNTXAN too!

*ping-a-ling* This seems to be the last update. Post #635.
Thank you for all your reports JH. Very much appreciated!
Freepers Rock!
bump for a great job, I wish I could have been there, but FR makes me feel almost there...
thanks to everyone involved...
Sorry, Jeff must have misunderstood me. My daughter did not talk at the rally but we were talking about the rally on the way home and about the sacrifices our troops make on a daily basis. We have 13 military spouses that work for us and all but one of them has been in Iraq in the last two years - the other went to Korea
Thanks to Jeff for relaying the updates and for everyone who attended. I know the soldiers and their families appreciate it very much.
