SANTA MONICA Santa Monica police say suspicious activity has drawn their attention to three men, recently spotted on the Santa Monica pier.
Detectives say three Middle Eastern individuals were videotaping the pier in a suspicious manner. It happened three weeks ago. Apparently, a citizen saw the trio taking pictures at the pier and the surrounding area. That citizen then called police.
The same three individuals were also seen taking suspicious video in two other communities. The individuals have been identified, but no arrests have been made. Police are releasing few details about the case.
