To be fair, that's not exactly going to be an unbiased source. Rottweiler's are to dogs as bullsharks are to sharks. Many sharks will bite you, then leave, but the bullshark might just rip you to shreds. It's just in them to do so.

Bad analogy. You cannot domesticate a shark or a lion or a rattlesnake. These dogs have been domesticated for a long, long time. The only exposure most people have with rottweilers is when they read about an attack in the MSM or see their neighborhood thug being being pulled by one. You never read about the dog protecting people from attacks unless you went to the ARA or AKC just like you would have to subsribe to the NRA's magazine to read about gun owner preventing attacks. Spend some time with responsible owners and their dogs....sure they will be biased just as NRA members are biased. Better yet talk to K9 crews in law enforcment and the military and let them tell you about their rottweilers, german shepards and dobermans (and other breeds).
