The fly trap for the terrorists is also working and is a principle reason for us being there too. They are coming there to "fight the great satan" and they are dying by the thousands, probably tens of thoiusands at this point. That means they are not able to forment their plans and spread them selsewhere.
Noithing dilusional about that at all and I would appreciate your not introducing such vitriol into the discussion...it serves no purpose but to lessen your own arguements. What I am positing is merely a statement of fact. Our volunteers understand this and are fighting it out there with our enemies. God bless them for doing so.
There isn't a single substantiated fact in anything you've said. The "fly-trap" scenario you've described is nothing more than a lame attempt to explain (and provide a retroactive justification) how the U.S. could possibly find itself fighting a guerrilla war and incurring heavy casualties more than two years after "major combat operations" supposedly end. You will not find a single U.S. military source that ever used this rationale before the war began, mainly for two reasons: 1) the war wasn't supposed to last this long, and 2) they never expected to find so many foreign forces involved in Iraq.
