This afternoon Equusearch went back to ther Van der sloot's neighbors's home. We checked the resevoir (old water supply) with "Vision Stick" and the sewer of his home. Both turned up negative. I will try to provide pics a little later God willing. Fox News showed up to video it as well.
I would like to personally thank and EquuSearch as well, Rafiali Frank for all his coopertation in helping search his property. Rafiial is just one of the may great Arubans who are just willing to help to get to the bottom of it.
Cops: Girl-next-door killed, hidden as relatives searched only feet away
8/1/2005, 5:05 p.m. ET
By WAYNE PARRY The Associated Press
MORRISTOWN, N.J. (AP) As relatives grew frantic searching a Randolph neighborhood for a 16-year-old girl who had been missing for hours this weekend, her neighbors were having a party.
The sound of laughter and singing, including the strains of "Happy Birthday" in Spanish, wafted from the house next door as family members searched for Jennifer Parks on Saturday.
What they didn't know was that the girl was already dead, her dismembered body stuffed into a steamer trunk and stashed in the back of a neighbor's car just a few feet away. The girl's 18-year-old next-door neighbor pleaded innocent Monday to her murder as park's family struggled to come to terms with what had happened.
"She was there that whole day," said Cathy Dodd, Jennifer's aunt. "We were walking around the yard, looking for her, and she was still in the trunk. It's hard to believe something like this can happen to your own family."
Jonathan A. Zarate, of Randolph, is charged with murder, weapons offenses and hindering apprehension in the death of Parks.
Zarate invited the 16-year-old to his home to watch television but became angry, punching, beating and then stabbing her in the basement about 2 a.m. Saturday, Morris County Prosecutor Michael M. Rubbinaccio said Monday.
Zarate, who is being held on $1 million bail, used a knife to cut the legs off the body before putting the dismembered corpse in the steamer trunk. He then stashed the trunk for a day in his father's Jeep, the prosecutor said.
"It's a pure act of murder," Rubbinaccio said.
The prosecutor said investigators are trying to determine whether a previous dispute between Zarate's younger brother and the victim played any part in her death.
The body of Parks was found by a police officer suspicious about a car and the three teens in it that was parked on a bridge over the Passaic River early Sunday.
Rubbinaccio credited the officer, who was returning from a motor vehicle stop, with the crucial break in the case, stopping the teens as they prepared to heave the steamer trunk into the river.
The juveniles, who were not named by authorities, were charged with unlawful disposal of human remains and tampering with evidence. One of them is Zarate's 14-year-old brother, Rubbinaccio said. Zarate also was charged with employing juveniles in the commission of a crime.
Authorities were digging up portions of the back yard of Zarate's family's home Monday, looking for physical evidence in the case, including the knife used in the killing, Rubbinaccio said. The weapon had not been recovered as of mid-afternoon.
An autopsy by the Bergen County Medical Examiner's office determined that the girl died from blunt force trauma to the face and body, stab wounds to the neck and abdomen, and mechanical asphyxiation.
There was no sexual overture made during the time the two were at Zarate's house, the prosecutor said.
Relatives described Parks as a good kid who loved to read and mostly kept to herself and never bothered anyone else.
"She always had a smile," said Dodd.
Rubbinaccio said that during their argument, Zarate punched Parks in the face, then beat her with a metal pole and stabbed her repeatedly before dismembering her body to fit it into the trunk.
Anthony Fusco Jr., Zarate's attorney, said he had not had a chance to speak in detail with his client, and declined to comment on what his defense might be.
"There's a family grieving for the loss of their child," he said. "Anything else would be inappropriate" to say.
With a shoe that size, it's probably being used as a trash can down at police headquarters. Current contents include: a couple of bones, some tattered teal blue cloth, duct tape, maybe a hotel room key card and Alabama DL. They haven't emptied it yet...there's still room for more.
Malichi,
You know what they say about guys with big feet?........They wear big shoes.
I did not hear her mention the FBI, but I did not get everything that was said. I will post the transcript when it comes up tonight.
Lol, you guys are nuts.
Ha!
Susan Candiotti: police did talk to the landfill witness within days of Natalee's disappearance. The tags matched up to a vehicle that was not in the landfill on the day that he saw it. LE doesn't put much credibility on this landfill witness.
these shoes are dangerous and should not be approached by the ALE
Gee . . . Jossy was saying on Geraldo that they found a couple of casino chips, some pizza boxes, a 1974 Mercury Marquis Brougham, and an old guy named Jimmy in Joran's shoes. Not sure about his sources, though.
Why hell, copies/smopies JM cuts down the trees for the paper their written on and I dare not tell you from where he proffers the ink.
It's all a ruse, the one armed man did it barefoot.
Susan Candiotti: same as on Nancy Grace, tomorrow's interrogation tomorrow and the K-Swiss issue. Police do not give much credibility to what the landfill witness has to say.
Dave Holloway: We have had 22 different stories from this guy. His father probably has already coached him and admonish Joran to stay strong.
T.J. Ward: Harold Phelps will be joining him on Wednesday. Phelps has 31 years experience.
Paul Reynolds: They are convinced that the 3 suspects were involved, have info. Reynolds states that they believe that the interrogation transcripts hold the key.
Dr. Lee: You do not have to have a body, but you do need some evidence. Dr. Lee states that there should not be many size 14 sneakers in Aruba.
I think he was in Joran's shoe too! LOL!
Jossy also added at the end something like they have two years to be arrested....
I give it 24 hours or less and it'll resurface with a new name yet again.
Dave Holloway: Beth will be returning tomorrow
Paul Reynolds: They are persuing a search warrant for VDS's property. The intensity of the investigation is increasing. They still hold out hope.
T.J. Ward: talking about using his layered voice analysis equipment on the witnesses
Dr. Lee: Discussing the plastic bags that body was reported to be placed or wrapped in.
Arlene: Joran's attorney will be able to be available tomorrow during interrogation. Prosecution has to come up with some more solid evidence.
"Dr. Lee states that there should not be many size 14 sneakers in Aruba."
I think those a water skis he is thing of. Same size though.
... and a couple of old ones.
