The other day on CNN Soledad O'Brien was interviewing a well-off Black couple whose 15 year old son had been killed by other Black teenagers for his iPOD.

Her first question to them was "DO YOU BLAME iPOD?"

They don't get it at all. They have decided that it's our fault for having succeeded and if we would just quit being successful and providing our children with items that cause others to be envious, the problem would go away.

Keep on keeping on. Behave as normal. That's the only way to keep them at bay.

No they don't. Now go back forty years before ipods, I had a friend whose father was killed, stabbed to death for his hand held pocket radio. Empty beer cans don't litter people do, guns don't kill people do, pocket radios-ipods don't kill people do, etc., etc.,
