I was actually cringing whilst viewing Greta's interview with the two communications-challenged girlfriends last night.

No reflection on these young ladies, but doesn't Greta or one of her staff peeples vet interviewees first?

I know it's hard to sustain an hour-long show with interesting and informative interviews and commentary, but this interview was one of the most time-wasting, fruitless and embarrassing ones I've ever dozed through.

Greta should refine, define and sharpen the segment times devoted to the Natalee case.....and her gallant efforts on behalf of the investigation would be much more effective.

Eliminate the dumb, pointless interviews, Greta.

agreed, totally

One thing I have noticed over the course of this....the little brunette Frances Ellen Byrd appears in the majority of the published pics from the aruba trip....convincing me that she was with Natally frequently and/or nearly continuously during the trip.....yet in her many interviews since, she seems to have no specific and definitive statement to make. This is bizzarre IMO.

It seems that Natalee is/was very intelligent (to the point of another one of her friends remarking that Natalees tutelage is the only reason that the friend passed calculus). Frances seems more "average", if you will.

During my younger days, I noticed that the "10" chickees almost always held court over/with a few close friends with lesser numerical designations for attractiveness, and that the clique rarely contained another "10". The aforementioned brunette (IMO, at least) is far down the food chain in whatever clique is the reality, both in looks and smarts.

I'm wondering what you Ladies on this thread might think of the rather ambiguous questions implicit in consideration of the group dynamic I attempted to raise above......

As a man and former teenaged boy, I cannot possibly comment on girl-clique dynamics except to say that I was aware of it back then, and when I was able, I exploited it if possible along the road I was driven on by my then-raging hormones:) But now I am wondering what a womans point of view might be in light of this case and what little and confusing things we have seen wrt Natalees classmates.
