Four bouncers working for Razzoo Bar & Patio in New Orlean’s French Quarter were indicted by a grand jury Thursday for their alleged role in the suffocation death of college student Levon Jones, 26, last New Year’s Eve. The guards were charged with manslaughter.The door guards are accused of choking and restricting Mr. Jones’ breathing during an altercation triggered by the refusal to allow the student into Razzoo. The four guards wrestled Mr. Jones to the ground. One bouncer held him in a choke hold, another kneeled on his chest, while two other guards held Mr. Jones’ legs.
