Several bloggers have drawn attention to a strange lead in a Washington Post story about the Terri Schiavo autopsy results. The June 16 Post story by David Brown said that "Terri Schiavo died of the effects of a profound and prolonged lack of oxygen to her brain on a day in 1990, but what caused that event isn't known and may never be, the physician who performed her autopsy said

It will be the fourth book. There's another one called Terri's Story. I'm trying to find out more about it.

Terri's marker is by the water and it's not where they usually put the deceased or victims like Terri.

It's in a cemetary, right? By the water sounds really nice... You make it sound like she's gonna float off at high tide.
What do you mean by "not where they usually put the deceased or victims like Terri"?
Describe it, show us a picture.... What point are you trying to make with your comment on the location?

The gas station by McDonalds has been torn down and so has the one across the street from the Hospice Side of 66th St. I don't know what's going up instead.

Respects the court's opinion more than life itself. txrangerette told us awhile ago that the Bushes were quirky re: the courts but I don't know why they are that way.
Makes you wonder why Bush ran on judicial reform in 2000. Makes me wonder who he's going to pick for the Supremes.

Terri died on March 31st. Orlando Salinas was doing a live feed to Linda Vester's show. He talked to me ahead of time and I said something "typical". When we went live, he said "What have you learned from this experience and I said, "Be careful who you vote for."
He thought I was going to say some mamby pamby thing. I faked Orlando out.

What point am I trying to make? Not trying to make a point, just stating that the marker is in a strange location.

I don't have any idea if it's curious, you say it's weird, but you haven't described it, and maybe it isn't.

US AG Alberto Gonzalez. He's not my pick for the SCOTUS.
Comments made by U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, in his former capacity as White House counsel, have some conservatives warning that he would be the wrong choice to replace retiring Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.
"The Constitution is what the Supreme Court says it is," Gonzales responded in the summer of 2003 when asked by Dr. John Willke, president of the Life Issues Institute, to comment on whether the document that created the U.S. government addressed the issue of abortion.

Jeb was the namby-pamby. I believe he ruined his political future by being gutless.

He is exactly correct, alas. And that's what's wrong with a judiciary that does not keep its oath to uphold the Constitution. Unless Mr. Gonzales is an originalist, he'd be part of the problem and should not be approved for the court.

Georgie Greer, your soul is black
You pick on girls who can't fight back
When Terri begged Communion bread,
You tortured her till she was dead.

The only thing that Jeb may have "put to rest" is the guilt he should be feeling about letting Terri get murdered on his watch when he could have stopped it at any time.

Don't worry about it, it's a terrible video that will only serve to make MoveOn look even more extreme.

Yes, it does make moveon.org look more extreme when they align themselves with the advocates of involuntary euthanasia.
