Having worked with Gen Casey for about 5 months over in Iraq, I can vouch that the man takes no crap from no one.

Actually I thought that Casey's response was quite a bit more forceful than that of Rumsfeld's. To me that General was defending his soldiers as much as he was defending the policy.

Thank you for your service, Mike. I don't think that you or any of our military will ever know how proud you all make us or how grateful we are. Our young men and women in the military are our treasure and the envy of the world. God Bless.
