New York -- Speaking in a Manhattan ballroom just a few miles north of ground zero, Karl Rove said on Wednesday night that the Democratic party did not understand the consequences of the Sept. 11 attacks.
"Liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers," Rove said. "Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 and the attacks and prepared for war."

Not the subject of article or Rove's comments. My suggestion: quit weeping and learn to stay focused.
Obviously you cannot defend your original assertions, since evidence to the contrary was provided and you simply changed the subject.
Uh, my "original assertion" was Rove was grandstanding, i.e., because if he REALLY held such comprehensively macho views on hitting the 9/11 foe, he would have ALSO sealed our borders.
My suggestion? Reread the posts.
Rove should have used the FIRST WTC attack in 1993 as more proof to back up what he said. Hell, if the Democratic President Clinton would have responded in 1993 like the Republican President responded in 2001, we might not have had the attack in 2001, who knows, by now, the whole Muslim world might have been free and democratic.
Matter of fact,
(Abdul Rahman Yasin mixed the chemicals and escaped to Baghdad where Saddam refused to release him for extridition to the U.S., duh!)
Good work, Rove - direct hit!
