That is ok. IT is your right to believe what you want. I disagree with you. Bottom line for me is this: I do not think TERRI (not necessarily her parents) received her Constitutional rights and I believe that Judge Greer should be held in contempt of Congress.

I do believe that the parents should be considered by law as "family" tho...

As in, where there is no living will let the "family" decide.

For the record, I denounce calling any freeper a murder or a Nazi. I do NOT feel that even the most energized Judge Greer Supporter is guilty of murder, of being a Nazi, a kook, a liar, or a death cultist.... and I have never said anyone on your side was any of those things.

I question what we should call what Greer did to Terri. I believe THAT borders on killing someone- murder? I don't know about that.(fine point I know)

I think the people who agree with you and I have interrupted the data differently and have a difference of opinion over which branch of the government SHOULD have more power in decisions like this.

As far as I can tell this wasn't even the entire Judicial system- it was one judge.

And I have a big problem with that.

"I believe that Judge Greer should be held in contempt of Congress."

You're presuming that the "Congress" (actually the committee) acted according to protocol and their own rules. The rules were put into place to prevent Congress from abusing people they disagree with and minimize the politics.

It doesn't appear that the pertinent documents were properly executed. The people who did the documents know it and aren't going to proceed.

Okay. (1) Why wasn't it murder? It wasn't an execution for some capital crime. Greer's last orders were in all essence and fact -- an order to starve her to death, forcibly. (Ignoring the nuance between death by starvation and death by dehydration.)

(2) And how is it not an exact analogue of the situation in the Third Reich when they commenced their involuntary euthanasia program?

How many of us would trust our own mother or an old friend over our in-laws?

I will never understand why Terri's mother and her friends' testimony counted for nothing as to what her wishes might have been.
