Actually, I'm not discounting it, I'm COUNTING on the interest of the american public and the girl's family and friends to keep the pressure on this investigation. That is the only thing that will force both the Aruban and US authorities to finish the job.
The FBI is full of wonderfully talented and intelligent people who sincerely try to serve their country. However, its leadership is politically corrupt, and does not view protecting the lives and rights of our citizens as its highest priority. The State Department is a lost cause.
