Thanks. I learned to be more aware and when in doubt, when afraid, stick your hand down in your bag and look determined. That guy thought I was armed and we were on a deserted road, no lights and he was looking straight at me who was frozen thinking "This is it for me". The strange thing was that I froze, I couldn't have moved for anything, couldn't have run, fought, anything. Just froze like some possum.

So we have a Croes, (Gilbert F.) a Minstry level Federal official involved in Transportation and Tourism. And a Steven Croes, possibly in custody, reportedly related to a high ranking official. Apparently a 26 year old pilot.

Can the dots be connected between the two...(off to google...)

Hi..just found the thread..could I please get any answers to a few questions...not sure if they've been covered previously...

1. Did the "chaperones" really fly to Aruba on a private jet, and NOT with the kids?

2. She DID have roomates, right?..If so, then when these other girls woke at 7, or 7:30 or whatever , that morning....and saw that her bed hadn't been slept in, she hadn't been back to the room all night....they did nothing..called no one..they just showered, dress, and left? That makes NO sense whatsoever..

Man, what a close call! Who knows how many times any of us have just missed being in a bad situation by happenstance or by being ingeniuous (like you) when we were alert to danger.
