Actually I'm the Queen of England. I assume you could sense my royal air.

It's NOT out there because it's sealed, do you get it now?

There is not ANY jurisdiction in this country where an accusation OR a lawsuit against ANY public employee is NOT PUBLIC RECORD.

You are a dishonest poster.

Oops! Sorry, I shant pick at you intentionally. The point I was trying to make is, this ME is an authority figure in Florida and his work is open for the world to see. So far in my reading, I have yet to find a single 'opinion' he's offered in his findings ... scientists don't offer opinions when asked to examine and define the facts. Judges, OTOH do it all too often, but then we don't ask them for explanation of scientific facts, usually.

" I do think it's important when people start posting this stuff, especially about reputations, or character or such, that they try to back it up with evidence of some type. "

You didn't really just post that with a straight face. Tell me you are joking.

It doesn't matter what you think, public record means its open for the public to see. Sealed means just that sealed where no one is permitted access. You make me laugh, call me a poser if it makes you feel better, but I don't fake knowledge only to make statements that prove otherwise. Ask your county courthouse to explain the difference, grow a little from the knowledge you will receive. Done.

Well, I guess that explains it; the inbreeding must have dulled your common sense gene.

You are being unfair, Howlin. I did not mention any names in my post, just what my experience was. However, she and that other poster, named me SPECIFICALLY. That would be slander. The analogy doesn't hold water.

Are you too dense to realize the ONLY part that can be sealed is the SETTLEMENT?

We do NOT have "secret" lawsuits/accusations in this country against public officials.

Period.

End of story.

Okay, if you're going to be just plain rude we don't have to talk at all. I was trying to be pleasant with you, but I'll just say good night.

What appalled me was people who I respected previously, retreated to a comfort zone where they thought they could characterize those who didn't agree with them as a "jungle".

Then there are those who continually use the axe to beat over our heads, as in "I'm using doing transcripts on the CSPAN threads......but since I'm in a snit over Terri Schiavo, I'm not in the mood anymore...." I think it's an ugly picture personally.

I think I'll go with...........howlin'. I think her experience and AUTHORITY as a court reporter holds more water.

"I understand, and I'm glad that YOU at least understand the point I was making about CVs. I do think it's important when people start posting this stuff, especially about reputations, or character or such, that they try to back it up with evidence of some type. Otherwise we can just sit here and call each other names all night :)"

Yes, to an extent I do agree with you about judging someone based on their CV. However, I do believe anyone of us has the right to post a CV without having to "back it up with evidence of some type". Heck, if we had to do that, none of us would be able to post a CV. Afterall, we mostly talk about people we are not personally acquainted with here on FR. Good evening.

Did you graduate from college? What was your degree in?

What the heck difference does that make.

I think you misunderstood me. When I refererred to "evidence of some type" I mean if someone is making allegations about another individual. THey should have some kind of evidence or material they are referring to that they can openly share with us.

Funny, I've never noticed that about blueblazes.

Seems she is very upset about the Terri killing and what it means in our society. Is that a crime here?
