The few kids I knew with gay parents were the result of a parent coming out after a traditional marriage.

Those are the only ones I know personally.............and all but a few were practically adults when the coming out occurred.

For what it's worth, Rosie's adopted son has said a number of comments about his mother. Her response, from what I've read about them were anything but loving. Basically, she said "yeah, yeah, go write a book." If he wrote it I'd certainly be interested.
