And don't forget the fact that even after spending $60 million in 2000 in a state that gave George W. Bush only 40.3% that year, Corzine still managed to eke out a 2% win against a Republican that he outspent like 10:1. Corzine is not unbeatable by any stretch.

BTW, President Bush improved his vote percentage in NJ to 46.24% in 2004, so our gubernatorial nominee (hopefully Schundler) only needs to hold the Bush voters and get less than 8% of Kerry voters to vote for him in order to win.

Hope your right. It's the 8% that the tricky part. I am almost certain that if Forrester wins the social conservatives will stay home in droves.
