It hit something, and there was the thunderclap, and then an explosion.
Sounded like a ground transformer went up.

I'm just pleased that in this new house, when the power goes down, I don't have to worry about water.
At the old house, I had several 5 gallow carboys of water in my basment at all times, because somedays the power would go out and we'd be stuck for days with no plumbing and no water.
