Is it legal to fire someone for being insane? For example, what if a waiter at one's restaurant decided that he was actually Gandhi and insisted on wearing a loincloth to work? Could you axe him?

Does it matter what's legal? All they need is a lawyer and an activist court to agree.

...and was discharged because of his sex:

Which "sex" are we talking about?

He's neither a man nor a woman, so sexual discrimination doesn't apply until sex can be determined.

"In so terminating (Blanchette's) employment, the college treated him differently than a similarly situated woman."

He can't be treated differently than a woman unless he can prove that he is indeed a woman, and if that happens then show how women are treated in a similar situation.

They fired him because it was an IT job, and girls aren't as good at computers as guys are!

I have been living in Switzerland for a few years now. It seems like everyday I log in and read about how life in my good ole USA just keeps getting more bizarre. I read this piece and WOW.

What is next? Someone filing a discrimination suit against their company because they are African-American trapped in the body of a Lesbian, American- Indian with ADD.

There are people so blindly in love with the legal system and our supposed Constitutional ideals - but they never mention these cases when discussion comes up. They only care that Uncle Sam is actively trying to prevent drug crimes and horrendous acts of terrorism, like that's not worthy...

Nobody anticipated litigious s--theads at our founding. It's time we finally deal with it and punish bed-wetting frivolity where we see it.

This freak is one good example.

The Air Force veteran, husband and father wrote, "At the end of a year, if everything is going well, I will undergo reassignment surgery."

.....and St. Anselm College performed their own reassignment surgery

What a coincidence that I'm reading Limbaugh's Persecution. Imagine a court trying to force an Islamic school to allow this!

FYI

As a high school teacher I can tell you that transgender acceptance indoctrination began a few years ago in the public schools.

LGBT is THE acronym used in all educational materials relating to this subject. (L=lesbian, G=gay, B=bisexual,T=transgender)

Homosexual Agenda Ping.

Hmm - more transgendered effluvia, this time at a Catholic college.

What we need is some good old discrimination. Used to be, the word "discriminating" mean good taste, refined character, sharp intelligence, to determine the difference between good and bad, useful and useless, moral and immoral.

Now we are expected to obey our cultural-elite masters blindly.

I refuse. If instead of accepting these fools and rascals as authorities, we search our hearts and the holy scriptures of every single monotheist religion in the world, we will find the truth about right and wrong, and furthermore, we will find the strength to stand up for the truth.

Let me know if you want on/off this pinglist.

I have a close connection with St. A's.

I'm hoping that they fight this but, as we've seen in MA, the law may be overruled as irrelevent to the judge(s).

Since it's a Catholic college, don't their rules have any precedence? For instance, religious institutions are supposedly exempt from the mandatory hiring of homosexuals, at least in CA. Of course, hiring is different from students, but I'd like to know more about this. If you find anything, ping me, ok?
