This column is laugh out loud, roll over hilarious. You must read the whole thing. If you want to smile, this is it. Schlussel takes out the sarcastic knives on the WNBA, and stabs it over and over!

look at the 7’2” Margo Dydek of Connecticut’s WNBA team—if you dare.

I most certainly do not dare. ......and please, no one post her photo.

For Schlussel to criticize someone on her looks is a real laugher.

That picture on her webpage is old, when she was on the northside of 120 pounds.

I like women's basketball. Less violent and drammatic than the men that's for sure.

it’s stuck with it like white on rice (apologies to low-carbers)

Don't worry, us low-carbers have no problem with derogatory comments about a starchy product. :)

I'll never understand why lesbians, allegedly liking women, dress, style, act, and pick companions that look like men.

I remember in college thinking that I felt kind of sorry for the girls teams because, hey, nobody cared. Me included. I have zero interest in watching beefy looking women play sports. Who does?

By the way, Conway & Steckler, a radio show here in LA, once called another city like Detroit or something and said they needed to order a large block of tickets for the opening game of their WNBA team (whatever it is). They started off by saying they needed a couple hundred seats together and the person on the phone said "you got it." Then they kept upping it until it was like 10,000 seats together and the person said, "you got it, taken care of." For the opening game of the season.

Though not WNBA yet, Sidney Spencer (University of Tennessee Lady Vols) at 6'3" is one of my favorite round ball players.

I'll bet 90 percent of the players in the WNBA have more character than the person who wrote this tripe or the one who posted it.
Why tear down dedicated, goal-oriented people? Most of those young women used their athletic ability to get scholarships that helped them graduate college.
My hat's off to those players.

Women's pro basketball is a form of subsidized affirmative action. Its laughable because NONE of the women players could compete against the men. The game is just not just up to the guys' level. That's why the WNBA deserves to be put out of its misery. On the other hand, Danica Patrick is a terrific driver and there are no special rules in the Indy 500 created just for her. To the contrary, one man wanted special treatment because he couldn't stand a woman beating him under the same rules every one else plays under. There are women athletes who are good at what they do and then there are the poseurs. The market is pretty good at letting people know where women truly excel in the sports world.
